If you need to find critical information contained within piles of
court documents or word processing files, D-M Information Systems
can help.
Using the Case Information System - FullText (CIS-FT) software
package, we load your documents into a single full text case.
Electronic files are loaded directly into the database. If documents
exist only on paper, we scan and "OCR" the pages to create a digital
text file.
Once all of the documents are loaded, we take advantage of CIS-FT's
many specialized features for full text documents:
- Perform global searches on all of the documents in a
database, or quickly review specific groups of documents
- Search for specific words, individually, or words within a
certain proximity of other words
- Find words which are NOT within a certain proximity of
others
- Locate phrases individually or within proximities of other
phrases
- Use wildcards (*) to find words which begin with specific
letters, so we'll make sure to catch references to PRESCRIPTION
as well as PRESCRIBE, PRESCRIBED, PRESCRIBING, PRESCRIBES, and
PRESCRIPTIONS
- Find words in personalized enhancements that have been added
to the text
- Perform searches on individual issue codes
- Find collections of words or synonyms with a single search
command
These and other sophisticated search techniques allow us to
narrow our findings quickly and easily. And once the results are
obtained, we produce specialized reports that list the results in
the format you desire.
